Brrrrrrrrr................ChatterChatterChatter.................

According to the website from The Weather Channel, it's now 5 degrees...FIVE DEGREES!!!

Not only that, but it feels like minus fourteen!

Why am I not surprised?

One reason I might not be surprised is that it feels sooooooooooooo CHILLY in here!

But more on that complaint in a little bit.

First, I want to reassure you that there IS a warming trend expected today.  In fact, it's predicted that it will be taking place about ten in the morning (not quite three hours from now) when the temperature is supposed to rise from 5 to 6.

At around eleven thirty, it's supposed to shoot up to 7.  By noon, it will have soared all the way up to 8.

An hour after that, the Anderson, Indiana area will be experiencing a heat wave with a temperature of 9 whole degrees!

By two in the afternoon, it will have gotten up to 11 degrees followed by 13 degrees at three and 14 degrees from 4 until 7.

Boy Howdy!!!  That's hotter than a firecracker!!!

Not only that, but, also, the wind chill will be a balmy zero throughout that three-hour period!

However, come seven, temperatures will drop a bit to 13 degrees with a wind chill of minus 1.

Brrrrrrr.....

Never fear, however!  Global Warming will be arriving--along with some snow--later tonight, and temperatures will be on the rise again.

By midnight, temperatures will have made their way back to 14 and will rise steadily after that.

At seven in the morning, it will be up to 22 degrees with a wind chill of 9.

At this point, we need to become aware of the likelihood that the polar ice caps might be starting to melt from all of that extreme heat!

A high of 28 for Groundhog Day will arrive at four in the afternoon and will remain that way for the next five hours.

At least one tabloid magazine has reported that there is a strange looking man wearing nothing but a tinfoil hat wandering up and down the aisles of a Nashville area WalMart with a bowl of Rice Krispies in his left hand and a 5000 year old skull in his right hand.

He is telling anyone who will listen that the blistering 28 degree temperatures predicted to take place during this time period will bring about the end of the world.

He knows this to be true because the skull told him so, and every Rice Krispie in the bowl had applauded when the skull had finished giving his message.

Of course, he'll just have to change his prediction if the temperature drops later tomorrow night--and it is scheduled to do just that.

By nine Saturday night, the temperature will start plummeting on its way down to 24.

Over the next few days, another heat wave is scheduled, so I guess the strange, little guy will be wandering around WalMart again.

IMO, he needs to take a good look at his birthday suit before wearing it out in public again--that is, if he wants people to take him seriously--because it looks to me as if it needs a bit of ironing.

Perhaps, he needs to ditch his current companions as well, because the Rice Krispies chatter non-stop, and his right-hand man is a regular bonehead!

When it warms up next week, I'm going to see if Ed would mind taking a look at my furnace to see why it's acting so wimpy.

I know that I have at least one draft coming in here, but it still should be producing more heat than what it's doing now--or so I think...

I'm glad that Charlie gave me his old space heater when he got a new one so that I can sit right in front of it while I'm computing away.

When I place my hands on the metal parts of my walker, I notice that they're cold to the touch.

The seat part of it is holding my space heater, and I have it turned to direct its heat on me.

At this time, I would love to have at least four more of these babies sitting around here and there.

It looks sunny out right now.

Later tonight, more snow will be  heading this direction and will be hanging around all day long tomorrow.

A lot of snow came down yesterday, and it was beautiful to watch.

It looked like a whole lot of waltzing feathers.

Right now, I'm going to sign off and have some breakfast...
